Get ready to step into the apocalypse—Wasteland Weekend returns for its 15th anniversary from September 24–28, 2025, deep in the Mojave Desert near Edwards, California. Wasteland Weekend is the the world’s largest post-apocalyptic festival. This fully immersive event requires all attendees to wear themed costumes inspired by post-apocalyptic media such as “Mad Max” and “Fallout.”
This milestone year promises to be bigger, bolder, and dustier than ever, with five full days of non-stop themed experiences. From sunrise to long past sundown, the event transforms the desert into a living, breathing dystopian outpost, complete with epic costumes, custom-built war machines, immersive camps, and theatrical performances.
Wasteland Weekend isn’t just a party—it’s a living role-play world. Everyone in attendance is part of the experience, and full immersion is the name of the game. That means costumes are required for all attendees—no exceptions. Whether you’re channeling Mad Max, Fallout, or your own custom raider persona, you’ll fit right in.
