The West Virginia event is now called WASTELAND JAMBOREE.
We have a lot of optional add-on events we’re calling Side Quests, which you will need to register for separately from your general admission ticket.
All of our official Side Quest adventures are now setup on the Brushfire ticketing website! We’ve locked in some truly sensational bands from West Virginia for the weekend and the run of show is just about done. And don’t fret too much because yes there is an app for this event too 🙂 We’ll have maps with all the parking lots spotlighted with separate VIP parking onsite.
OPTIONAL ADD-ON SIDE QUESTS INCLUDE:
✨3 Bus Excursions with limited seating running on Sunday, May 3rd to: The Trans-Alleghany Asylum, Helvetia and the iconic Greenbriar Resort where they are opening the bunker for us! A catered box lunch
✨The Wasteland Jamboree Carnival and Midway at Holly-Gray Park (where a lot of event parking will be with buses running people to and from) is $10 for the whole weekend – unlimited rides.
✨The Fallout For Hope Charity Gala in partnership with the Mountaineer Food Bank (which is almost SOLD OUT), will be Saturday night from 6pm to 10pm with a 4 course themed dinner, a cash bar cocktail reception, live band and dancing. The attire is Wasteland Formal (which can range anywhere from a tattered tux or dusty dress to pretty much anything you’d like – have fun with it, but there’s no required attire)
NOTE: To add on to your ticket you just log into Brushfire with the email you used to buy your tickets. OPTIONAL SIDE QUESTS NOT INCLUDED (independently run)
✨The Fan Film Festival at the Elk River Theatre running on Sunday starting at 4pm (just $5 admission which will also benefit the Mountaineer FoodBank: Fan Film Festival Tickets.
✨ The DAILY $10 pancake breakfast hosted by the Flatwoods Volunteer Fire Department will be at the Flatwoods Community Building from 7am to 12pm (or while supplies last each day). Google Maps Location.
✨ Tour Historic Bulltown! The US Army Corps of Engineers is opening this location two weeks early running tours every 30 minutes from 2:00pm to 7:30pm, last tour at 7:30pm with breaks from 4 to 6. Bulltown on Google Maps.
✨ The Stonewall Resort is hosting their own post-apocalyptic themed dinner Saturday evening for anyone who doesn’t get into our gala once tickets run out (it’s about a 28 minute drive from the venue). Reservations are required and dinner starts at 5pm at Stillwaters. Call: Stillwaters Restaurant on Google.
✨ We’ll have a map for an epic collectible bottle cap scavenger hunt from the Flatwoods/Sutton local businesses and restaurants for you to check out the area.
✨ The HAUNTED HAMMOND! Fancy a ghost tour while you’re at the event? The historic Hammond House is local and has been featured on TV and paranormal tours. The night tours are $25 and daytime tours $15 per person. Call Teresa to book (these are limited) 304-651-1729.
In short – there is oodles to do onsite and offsite and if anything it’s not “what am I going to do?” but “what won’t I have time for?” 😂 The time has working overtime along with state and local officials and the West Virginia Board of Tourism to make this weekend something special.
