We have an event called Wasteland Olympics during the daytime that weekend, Foam Sword fighting events (Thunderfoam), plus Costume Contests Saturday and Sunday.

There will be three stages to complete and the winner will have the fastest time. And trophies will be given!!

The Block Party will be on Friday night again! We will have the lovely Miss Casey Ablaze, to open the party!🔥This year, the block party will be held in the pavilion on Hill St next to the levee.

This event is currently BYOB, but I hope to work something out with one of the beverage vendors that attend the festival.
While as always the Steam Wastes are open to all ages, I do want to state that there will be LOUD MUSIC, FLASHING LIGHTS, SMOG MACHINES, ADULT BEVERAGES, and LOTS OF STRANGE PEOPLE😉. It may be best for the Mom’s and Dad’s to come out and have a night out “thumpin” without the “dumplins”…..
The Festival itself has Steampunk, Wasteland, and Renaissance sections all connected, making the festival stretch through the entire historic downtown.
