Big River Steampunk Festival is a 4-day event during Labor Day weekend that attracts over 20,000 people.
This year, the festival will be celebrating its 10th anniversary, and is extending the WASTELAND portion of the event.
We have been coordinating performers and vendors for the wasteland section, and that has gone quite well.
There will be a camping area for Wastelanders and their camps and vehicles (currently full).
There will be a Rave (aka dance party) Saturday on the street!
We will have a costume contest, and a dork sword fighting pit we called the Thunderfoam and it was a big hit last year. We’ll also have other games like Fire in The Hole (based on cornhole), and Hand Greneggs (based on horseshoes).
Bring your Bikes and War Rigs and park them in downtown Hannibal (unfortunately there will be no car show).
