Game Overview
Atomic Dawn is not your typical airsoft event! This event seeks to recreate the experience of an open-world role-playing game like Fallout or Metro. Combat is just a small part of the game. You’ll also need to barter, make alliances, navigate quests, earn caps, find treasure, hunt bounties, and most importantly: figure out how to survive after nightfall. Because of the maturity required to navigate certain situations and themes, Atomic Dawn is a 16+ event. Players under 18 will need to have a guardian present to sign their waiver or print and sign the waiver in advance. The waiver is available at www.demoncoregames.com.
Game Objective: WIP
Atomic Dawn is separated into 3 gameplay sections: The Saturday game, the Saturday night game, and the Sunday game. Each of these gameplay sections will their own unique paths to victory:
Green Path: Focuses on completing quests. Red Path: Focuses on combat and looting. Blue Path: Focuses on roleplaying and barter.
Perks
Atomic Dawn: Savage Skies uses a perk system that allows you to have special abilities. Each player will be issued 3 perk cards at registration. Players may bring their own perk cards from previous years, or may select 3 new perk cards from this year’s set. A perk card can be traded to another player or vendor for a different perk card. You may have a maximum of 3 perk cards on your person at any given time. Each perk card may only be used once before it must be refreshed, either by using a healing item or by respawning.
